How does Hashiruu work?
Post a task describing what you need done. Taskers submit offers with their price and timeline. You review the offers, accept the best one, and pay into secure escrow. The tasker completes the work, you confirm it's done, and payment is released. Simple.
What are the fees?
We charge a 5% service fee on both sides. If the agreed price is €100, you pay €105 and the tasker receives €95. The platform keeps €10 (10% total) to cover payment processing, escrow, dispute resolution, and support.
What is escrow and why does it matter?
When you accept an offer, your payment is held securely by Hashiruu — not sent to the tasker yet. This protects you: the tasker only gets paid after you confirm the work is done. It also protects taskers: once funds are in escrow, they know the money is real and available.
What if the tasker never delivers?
You can open a dispute at any time during an active contract. Our team reviews the evidence from both sides and resolves it — either releasing payment to the tasker or refunding you. If you do nothing and 7 days pass after the tasker marks work complete, payment releases automatically.
When does automatic payment release happen?
If you fund escrow and 7 days pass without you releasing or disputing, payment is automatically released to the tasker. This protects taskers from requesters who disappear after work is done.
How do taskers get paid?
Taskers connect a Stripe account during onboarding. When payment is released, funds are transferred directly to their connected bank account via Stripe. Payouts typically arrive within 1–3 business days depending on country.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. All payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified provider. Hashiruu never sees or stores your full card number. Escrow funds are held in Stripe's regulated platform accounts.
Can I cancel a task after posting it?
You can cancel an open task (before accepting an offer) at any time. Once you've accepted an offer and funded escrow, cancellation requires opening a dispute — at which point a refund may be issued depending on how much work has been done.
What currencies are supported?
We support EUR, USD, GBP, MYR, and SGD. You choose the currency when posting a task.
Do I need to verify my identity as a tasker?
Requesters can mark their task as "verified taskers only." In that case you'll need to submit an ID document and selfie for review before you can offer on that task. Most tasks are open to anyone.
